By utilising the Monotube design, Dobinsons IMS Shock Absorbers are able to resist fade far longer on corrugated roads, long or hard working 4wd trips, towing or even race conditions.

The IMS Shock Absorbers are mated with Dobinsons Linear Rate Coil Springs which are ‘hot wound’ and the hardening and tempering process is completed by an extremely precise electronically controlled furnace to eliminate breakage and sagging. 

All Dobinsons™ coil springs are load tested and scragged 100% to eliminate subsequent spring sag, and ensure they meet and maintain the required specifications. We also perform spring fatigue and hardness testing using in-house state of the art testing equipment.
