The ArduCam Time of Flight Camera for Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson Nano, Xavier NX, AGX Orin is a sophisticated camera module that features a Time of Flight (ToF) mechanism. This module is equipped with a MIPI-CSI 2 connection and is capable of measuring up to a 4-meter range with a precision of less than 2 centimeters. It has been specifically designed and optimized for Raspberry Pi and Nvidia Jetson boards.
The camera module is capable of generating real-time point clouds and depth maps. It boasts a resolution of 240×180 at 30 frames per second when used with RPI4/CM4. The module also includes an onboard 940nm laser, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications without the need for an external light source.
The camera module utilizes a V4L2-based video kernel device and comes with a C++/Python SDK for userland depth map output. It also includes example source code and is ROS-ready. The compact design of the module, with a board size of 38 x 38mm, makes it a versatile choice for various applications.
